Ana Milena Goncalves, Esq. brings nearly 20 years of legal experience to every case she handles. With a focused family law practice, she understands both the procedural rigor of the courtroom and the deeply personal nature of family law matters.

Before law school, Ana Milena worked as a caseworker at Lutheran Social Services in New York City where she advocated for foster children and worked alongside biological parents and the Administration for Children’s Services in cases involving the termination of parental rights. This experience gave Ana Milena a firsthand understanding of the impact that family law decisions have on children and families that no classroom or courtroom alone can teach.

Ana Milena graduated from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2006. While at Touro she participated in the Family Law Clinic where she represented clients in divorce and family offense proceedings. It was during this time that Ana Milena recognized the importance of effective client communication, managing expectations, and the power of negotiation in resolving family disputes.

Prior to founding AMG Law, LLC, Ana Milena was a Senior Associate at the Law Offices of Martin H. Pollack, P.C. where she remains Of Counsel. Throughout her career she has handled countless court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations, bringing the skills, experience, and fortitude needed to effectively represent her clients at every stage of the legal process.
